ou secretly brought home a little monkey as a pet and hid it in your room hoping to reveal it at
an appropriate time. But the monkey escaped and created a lot of trouble in the house and
everyone found out about its presence. Write a diary entry describing the incident.
In your diary entry you should say
. why you brought the monkey home and why you hidit
when you think it escaped and how
what troubles it created for itself and you
how everybody at home reacted to its presence
what happened to it ultimately (were you allowed to keep in
or was it given away to a zoo or was it released in the wild?)

Dear Diary,

Today, while I was returning home, I found a cheeky monkey on the street. I grabbed it and took it home, to look after it. I was scared to show it to my parents because my family member's hate pets especially naughty ones like monkeys. But this monkey was too adorable for me to leave it right there. So, I somehow made a plan of hiding it under my bed. I fed it with some banana's, played with it, and later it put it to sleep. It was having a tight nap, and I put it safely under the bed. I was feeling sleepy, too. So I thought of having a power nap. After a while, I woke up and was shocked to see the monkey missing. I felt miserable. Many thoughts were haunting me that moment. What if the monkey is seen by any of the family member? What if it disturbed my parents? What if it went out of the house? What if parents throw it out because they hate pets? What'll be my situation now? Oh lord, help me. With all these terrible thoughts, I slowly walked out of my bedroom. To my horror, everything in house was scattered and spilt. Everyone were scared and it was a mess, as expected. Seeing my expression, my parents understood that I was the one who bought the monkey into the house and were completely mad at me. Everyone was fed up and started screaming at me. I did nothing, but I slowly went and grabbed the monkey and walked back to my room. I gave the monkey a banana and put it back to sleep. My family member's were completely nuts. I went back to the living room and apologised. At last, I was forgiven. I told them how the monkey was left alone and how much I liked that monkey. I promised that I'll train the monkey and will look after it well. My parents got convinced and they let me keep that monkey at home. I swear, the monkey will be trained and will act wisely from then.
