If that is so, then the subject of this sentence - the part before the verb - is singular and the verb should be, too. The present singular form of this verb is ‘likes’. So the correct sentence would seem to be “Karim likes sweets”.

But perhaps I’m wrong. Perhaps there’s a group (tribe? nation?) of people called “the Karim” who live in Karimstan or Karimland, and perhaps there’s a widespread liking for confectionery among these people. In that case, you could say “The Karim like sweets”, or shorten it to “Karim like sweets”.
