Our constitution gives certain rights to a person if he has been arrested on a wrong offence. Should a criminal be allowed such privileges especially if she/he might have acted against the interest of a person?

Everyone is equal before law and constitution . Though he/she is a criminal they have all rights provided by the constitution unless they are found or proved guilty . If he/she is arrested on wrong offences they have real right to address the court or appoint a lawyer.
