yes India is a secular because citizens have completely freedom to follow any religion but there is no official religion government treats all religion beliefs and practices with equal respect.

Yes our country i.e. India is a secular state.
A secular state is an idea pertaining to secularism, whereby a state is or purports to be officially neutral in matters of religion, supporting neither religion nor irreligion.
Our government is not allowed to support or demote any religion.....
