our earth speed is 1600 km / h on equator . Though it rotate completely on its axis only once in 24 hours why does it takes a lot of time ?

Hello!

Think about this. The Earth's circumference is about 40,075 km. So in order to cover 40,075 km at a speed of 1600 km/h, it takes:

40,075/1600 = 25 Hours!

Hence, your question is answered and if you think my answer is wrong, it is just an estimate. The circumference of the Earth and speed of its rotation are just estimations.
