Saprotrophs are the organisms which consumes the dead and decaying things. They devour or depend on decaying bodies of other organisms.  

If saprotrophs will be not there on the earth, it will not get the moisture that we get from fungi and we will not get any saprotrophic nourishment.  

'If they are not 'present' in the world', then the 'waste materials' would 'accumulate' in the world and our world would become a wastebasket.
