Pesticides are found to have varying amounts of pesticide residues in food grains such as wheat and rice, vegetables and fruits and even meat . Pesticides are poisonous chemical substance that are sprayed in the fields to prevent the crops from disease. The gets mixed up with the soil and water. The plants absorb them from soil and water . This further affects the food chain and then gets transferred at each trophic level.
