Our native language is part of our culture and we are proud of it. The presence of village elders in the classroom and M. Hamel's last lesson show their love for french in the following ways-

  • They occupied the last seats in the classroom and made no noise at all.
  • They listened to the last lesson with absolute silence in order to respect the knowledge that was being given.
  • The elders in order to show their respect and love for their language wrote silently in their notebooks that was having little french flags, as if they wanted to take as much knowledge as possible on that day.
