our palm tree stands on the bank of river. a post is fixed in the Earth on the other bank just opposite to the Palm tree. on moving 7 root 3 metre from the post along the bank, it is found that the tree makes an angle of 60 degree at that point with respect to this Bank. let's find the width of the river​

Tan 60° =  River Width / Distance from Post

Distance from Post  = 7√3 m

Tan 60° = √3

=> √3 = River Width /7√3

=> River Width = 7√3 * √3

=> River Width = 7 * 3

=> River Width = 21

the width of the river​ = 21 m
