‘Nature provides for our need, not greed’

Trees are one of the most important resources of the planet we live in. Trees are very important to the environment, animals, and of course, for us humans. However, the trees on our planet are being depleted at a very fast rate. According to some estimates, more than 50 percent of the tree cover on earth has disappeared due to human activity. As a matter of fact the lack of awareness of the bad effects of cutting trees to our environment leads to irresponsible behavior by people, many people did not even know that by cutting down trees they are basically committing a murder because the more trees we have the better the oxygen in our environment and vice versa. Some people are trying to fight this problem. Some are ignoring it and hoping it will go away. Still some don’t even seem to care.

Destruction of forests simply refers to deforestation, eradication of the biodiversity and extreme climate changes. Deforestation will lead to an upsurge in floods and a decrements in the forest life. An area with no trees will be affected economically as well, reducing tourism.

The flora and fauna subsume and add on to the scenic beauty. Exquisite, unique creatures aid the mechanical and physical working in the environment. We humans are demolishing this homely planet. We were blessed with the wonders of the nature and now we are destroying and polluting it.

The world was built in such a way, that we give something to the nature and take something in return. This give and take system was immaculately constructed allowing humans to live in the environment with other living organisms in harmony and peace.

Well it depends.  If you just cut down the trees and plants, enough seeds would be scattered for them to to regrow. However the ecosystem would be heavily disrupted, and it would cause widespread famine and extinctions. If we cut down all the trees and plants and killed all the seeds and seedlings as well, complex life on LAND would cease. Without plants, the herbivores die, then the animals who ate the herbivores die, then humans die. The only species that would be well off are those living in the ocean. While those who live on kelp or similar plants you can "cut down" those who survive on eating microorganisms will be OK. Life on land depends on plants, but in the ocean, there are small organisms (i forget their name) who survive on photosynthesis, and they feed other microorganisms, and they feed others, and on and on until you get to fish eating small things.  Who knows, maybe land life would re evolve, and if another intelligent land species arises, they will wonder, why did they cut down all the trees and plants, knowing it would end them.
