Our planet now faces a global extinction crisis never witnessed by humankind. Scientists predict that more than 1 million species are on track for extinction in the coming decades. Humans use thousands of the world’s species in their daily lives for food, shelter, and medicine, but these natural resources are limited. It would also seem that the more advance technology we have the more nature is being taken advantage of.

How can you use technology to help prevent extinction of species whether plants or animals? Provide examples and ellaborate your answer. You can cite different forms of technology.

Answer:

We've shown time and time again that we can win for wildlife: Over the past 30 years, the Center has locked in protections for 723 species and more than half a billion acres of habitat. We're the one group that never turns its back on any species clinging to survival.

That's why we're using every ounce of our legal, scientific, activist and media power to save 30% of the planet's lands by 2030 and 50% by 2050.

The extinction crisis requires bold, fierce action. We're ready — but we need you with us.
