our spine is made up of 33 ring - shaped vertebrae .If it was made up of a single bone,what are the disadvantages we must face.

these contract and get back to shape so that we can bend or move... single bone would be stiff and we wont be able to bend or move our back

We would have lots of problem if we had a single bone as we can't bend or move are back.. For example if we are sleeping and wants to stand it is very difficult because we want some one who can lift us up cause we can move our back though it will be very stiff
