Given  :  Out of 100 members in a Club,

85 members play Baseball and 50 members play Volleyball

To Find : How many members play both-Baseball and Volleyball, if each member plays at least 1 of the given sports?

Solution:

Play Volleyball = 50

Play  Baseball = 85

Play Both   =  ?

Play Either  = 100   ( as  each member plays at least 1 of the given sports)

=> 100 = 85 + 50  - Both

=> Both = 35

35 members play both-Baseball and Volleyball,
