out of 100 students 40 passed in physics and 30 passed in chemistry. if 18 passed in both the subjects, then what is the number of students failed in both subjects?​

Solution

Total students = 100

Students passed in physics = 40-18 =22

Students passed in chemistry = 30 - 18 =12

Students passed = 22+12+18 =52

Number of students failed in both the subjects

=> 100 - 52

=> 58

Answer => 58
