Out of 12 kg chilly powder, 35 packets are prepared each of 250 gm.Find the weight of remaining chilly powder.

total weight of chilli powder is 12 Kg that is 12000g now weight of chilli powder packed is 35*250=8750g remaining chilli powder is 12000-8750=3250g

Solution: Total weight of chilly Powder = 12kg

= 12*1000gms (Converted Kiligrams into Grams )

= 12000gms.

Weight of 35 chilly packets of 250 gms each = 35*250gms =8750gms

Therefore weight of remaining chilly Powder = Total weight of chilly Powder - weight of 35 packets of 250 gms each

=12000-8750 = 3250gms .
