look!

total voters = 15000
people who voted= 60%
so who didn't vote = 40%
40% of 15000
= 40/100*15000
=6000 voters did not vote

Who didn't vote = 100% - 60%

  • 40%

No. of voters who didn't vote= \frac{40}{100} * 15000

=\frac{4}{10} * 15000

= 4 150

= 6000

6000 (40% of total) voters didn't vote.
