Let the distance travelled by bus be x kms and by aeroplane be
y kms

by first condition

THIS IS EQUATION 1
x + y = 1900
by second condition

now

speed =  \frac{distance}{time}
time=  \frac{distance}{speed}
for bus

time =  \frac{x}{60}
for aeroplane

time =  \frac{y}{700}
But it is given that journey was completed in 5 hours

thus

THIS IS EQUATION 2
 \frac{x}{60}  +  \frac{y}{700}  = 5
By solving equations 1 and 2 for x and y

x= 150

y=1750

ANS

Vishal travelled 150 kms by bus
