by first condition

$x + y = 1900$
by second condition

now

$speed = \frac{distance}{time}$
$time= \frac{distance}{speed}$
for bus


$time = \frac{x}{60}$
for aeroplane

$time = \frac{y}{700}$
But it is given that journey was completed in 5 hours

THIS IS EQUATION 2
$\frac{x}{60} + \frac{y}{700} = 5$
By solving equations 1 and 2 for x and y


x= 150

y=1750
