out of 1900 km Vishal Travels some distance by bus and some by aeroplane. Bus travels with average speed 60 km per hour and the average speed of aeroplane is 700 km per hour. It takes 5 hours to complete the journey. Find the distance Vishal travelled by bus.

let distance travel by bus be : x

and that of aeroplane be : y

now,

total distance = 1900km

x + y = 1900km. .................(1)

total time = 5 hour

time taken by bus = x / 60

time taken by aeroplane = y / 700
