Out of 2 equilateral triangle the side of the first triangle is 3 cms. More than that of the second. The ratio of the perimeter of both the triangle is 5:2 then find out the side of the triangles​

Answer:

let the side of one triangle , say ABC be X cm

the side of another triangle, say PQR be (x + 3 ) cm

perimeter of ABC = sum of all sides = 3x

perimeter of PQR = 3(x+3)

ratio = 5:2

PQR / ABC = 5/2

3x + 9 / 3x = 5/2

2(3x+ 9 ) = 5(3x)

6x + 18 = 15x

11x = 18

x = 11/18 cm
