Step-by-step explanation:

Let two equilateral triangles have side y and x respect.

A/Q,

y = x+3

and ratio of perimeter = 3y/3x = 3(x+3)/3x = (1+3/x) = 5/2

=> 3/x = 5/2 - 1 = 3 / 2

=> 3x = 6

=> x = 2cm , y = x+3 = 5cm.
