Out of 2800 apples, 2660 are good and rest are bad. What is the percentage of bad apples?​

Bad apples = Total - good apples

= 2800 - 2660

= 140

Percentage of bad apples = Bad apples / total apples x 100

= 140/2800 x 100

= 5%

Good apples = 2660
No. Of wasted apples = Total no. of apples - good apples

=2800-2660
= 140

Percentage of wasted apples= wasted apples/total no. Of apples * 100

= 140/2800 * 100
= 140/28
= 20/4
= 5%

Therefore, 5% of apples were wasted
