Answer: The answer is 25%

Step-by-step explanation:

Total no. of students=32

No. of students absent=8

Percentage of students absent=No.of students absent/Total no. of students *100

8/32*100

1/4*100 or 100/4

Given -

32 students are the class.

8 students are joint.

To Find-

Percent of the students are absent.

Solution-

Percentage means divide by 100.

Percent of the students are absent = \frac{Number of students absent }{Total number of student in class} \times100

Percent of the students are absent = \frac{8}{32}\times100

Divide 8\32 by 8 we get

Percent of the students are absent = \frac{1}{4}\times100

Now divide 100 by 4  we get

Percent of the students are absent =  25 %

So,

Percent of the students are absent from 32 students is 25%.
