Median is defined as the middlemost element in the data set when the elements are arranged in either ascending order or descending order. If there is more than one middle value, the average of all the middle values is considered to be the median.


From the above definitions, it is clear that if the data is provided to the boy, the mode measure of central tendency would be most appropriate to determine and purchase the most preferred brand by children.
