Hey there!
Question :- In a survey of group of people it was found that 80 people liked to drink tea 55 liked coffee, 25 liked both tea and coffee and 30 people didn't like both tea and coffee..Totally how many people were there?
Given n ( T) =80
n ( C) =55
n ( T ∩ C) = 25
n ( T ∪ C)¹=30
Total number of people in the survey
= n ( T) +n ( C) =55 -n ( T ∩ C) +n ( T ∪ C)¹
=80+55-25+30
=80+30+30
=80+60
=140
hope helped !^^
