For two boys = 2/4 = 1/2

For two girls = 2/5

1/2 + 2/5

5 + 4/ 10

9/10 = 0.9

Answer: \frac{10}{21}

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, the number of boys = 4,

The number of girls = 5,

Total number of students = 5 + 4 = 9,

Hence, the the probability that two are boys and two are girls when 4 students are selected

=\frac{^4C_2\times ^5C_2}{^9C_4}

=\frac{6\times 10}{126}

=\frac{60}{126}=\frac{10}{21}

Hence, the required probability is 10/21.
