Total no. of students - 45

no. of students absent - 5

no. of students present - 40

no. of students who failed to do the homework - 30℅ of 40 = 30/100 × 40= 12

no. of students who did the homework - 40 - 12 = 28

Hope it helps you buddy.

damianrjlani: first we will subtract 45-5
damianrjlani: then we will take out 30% of 40 which is 12. after that we will subtract 40-12 which is 28. therefore 28 students failed to complete the homework
