let one angle be x

so the other angle=2/3of x

=2/3x

a/q

x+2/3x=90°(sum of complementary angles is 90°)

5/3x=90°

x=90×3/5

=54°

first angle=x=54°

second angle=2/3x=2/3×54= 36°

Angles are 54° and 36°
