evaporation because it does not occurs at boiling point but before that and it is mainly caused in oceans due to the heat of the sun whereas in boiling it occurs in boiling point and in this process all the water molecues are heated so lastly i would conclude that evaporation is the surface phenomenon...

Evaporation is a Surface phenomenon whereas, Boiling is a Bulk phenomenon.
Evaporation is a Surface phenomenon, and can cause Vaporisation only at the surface. which means that only the particles or molecules of the liquids present on its surface change into vapours . Thus, greater the surface area of the liquid more will be the rate of Evaporation .
For example :- we often spread wet clothes in order to dry them in air. By doing so, there is again an increase in surface area available for the Evaporation of water. the clothes soon gets dry.
