Answer: Evaporation is a surface phenomenon

Explanation: Because evaporation can occur at any temperature and it takes place just on the surface of liquid not in whole liquid but boiling occurs only by increasing the temperature of whole liquid upto its boiling point

Answer:

Evaporation is a Surface phenomenon whereas, Boiling is a Bulk phenomenon. Evaporation is a Surface phenomenon, and can cause Vaporisation only at the surface. which means that only the particles or molecules of the liquids present on its surface change into vapours .
