Out of boiling and evaporation which is surface phenomenon ? Explain it in absence of refrigerator,butter is kept, wrapped in a wet cloth during summer .

evaporation is a surface phenomenon.
as the butter is wrapped by a wet cloth first the heat falls on the wet cloth .the cloth absorbs all the heat.so the butter doesnot melts
