If he spend = 3x/4

Then remaining money he have = (x - 3x/4) = x/4

Now if he gave 4/5 of remaining money to his sister

That means he have (4/5)×(x/4) = x/5

So the remaining amount after all this is =

=> x/20 = 40

=> x = 800
