The element with 18 as atomic number will have smaller atomic size this is because of increase in nuclear charge (i.e increase in electrons ) which tends to pull the electrons closer to the nucleus thus reducing the size of the atom!

Elements 13 is Aluminium (Al)

Element 15 is Phosphorus (P)

Element 18 is Argon (Ar)

Answer: All these 3 elements have 3 shells so number of shell isn't deciding factor.

Al has 3 electrons, P has 5 electrons and Ar has 8 electrons in outermost shell.

As , Argon has Highest number of Protons and Electrons , so Protons (18) will attract 18 electrons with more force than P(15) and Al(13) , This will make the Atomic Radius (size) of Argon , Element much smaller.
