Out of HCl and CH3COOH of same concentration, which solution will have lower pH value? Why​

pH value of HCl solution is less than that of acetic acid of the same concentration. HCl is strong acid and is completely dissociated. Acetic acid is weak acid and partially dissociated. Thus, hydrogen ion concentration is higher in HCl than in acetic acid.

HCL will have the lower pH value as it is a strong acid, it will be almost completely dissociated into Protium and Chloride ions. Whereas Acetic acid being weak acid will not be dissociated completely in the solution.
