Answer:

Sal =100, 20 percent on rent,left 80percent .60percent of rest i.e 80 is household items expenditure ie 80*60=48 percent. Total spent = 20+48=68 percent.Left =32 percent=2800,so if 32 percent is 2800 ,100 percent is X ,cross multiply ,we get (2800*100)/32=Rs 8750 is monthly salary

Answer:

Total salary= x

House rent = 20% of x

x-( 20x /100)

80x/100

Expenditure= 50% of 80x /100

50/100×80x /100

=2x/5

2x /5 = 2800

therefore, x= 5×2800/2

=1400
