Let x be Anthony's monthly salary.

Here

House rent =30% of x = 30x/100 = 3x/10

Household expenses =60% of x = 6x/10

∴ Total saving=2800

⇒x−( 3x/10 + 6x /10)

⇒x- ( 3x+6x/10)

⇒x- 9x/10

⇒10x-9x / 10

⇒x/10

Balancing the equation,

⇒ 2800 = x/10

⇒x= 28000

∴ Anthony's monthly salary =Rs. 28000
