Ionization enthalpy is amount of energy required to remove electrons. Na has high ionization enthalpy than K because as size of K is more than Na so its easy to remove electrons from K.

ANSWER :-

Out of Na (Sodium) and K (Potassium) , sodium has high ionization enthalpy (or ionization energy). It is because bot sodium and potassium belong to the same group i.e. Group 1 but sodium belongs to third period and potassium belongs to 4th period. So sodium lies above potassium in Group 1. And as we know that moving down a group ionization potential decreases as electron removal becomes easy so potassium has less ioniztion energy than sodium.

Point to be noted :- Ionization potential or ionization enthalpy is the amount of energy required to convert a nuetral isolated gaseous atom into positively charged gaseous ion by removal of electron.

Hope it helps you :)
