Let the B=x

A exceeds B by 20 so-

A=B+20

A=x+20

C exceeds A by 55 so-

C=A+55

C=x+20+55

C=x+75

The sum of all the numbers is 230.

A+B+C=230

x+20+x+x+75=230

3x+95=230

3x=230-95

3x=135

x=45

The largest number is C=x+75=45+75=120

The smallest number is A=x=45

The difference between largest and smallest number=120-45=75
