Ans:- Potassium (K)can loose electrons more easily because it has a bigger shell than Na and down the group the effective nuclear charge experienced by the valence electrons decreases due to addition of new shells.Hence, the valence electrons are farther from the nucleus and can be lost easily

Out of two elements potassium and sodium the one which can lose electron easily is potassium.

Both potassium and sodium belong to same group so they have same outer configuration both have one electron in the outer shell.

Potassium=2,8,8,1

Sodium=2,8,1

Down the group the effective nuclear charge decreases as number of shell increases so distance between nucleus and shell increases hence effective charge decreases hence potassium can lose electron very easily.
