Out of two resolved components of a force, one is 10 N and it makes an angle of 60

with the force. Find the magnitude of the force

if you consider the angle with y-axis then by applying little knowledge of trigonometry you should get the component of force along x-axis as

10*sin30= 5N

but you can do this also by first calculating the angle made by force with x-axis

which will be 90–30=60(degrees)

then the component in x-axis will come out as 10*cos60=5N

but both are essentially same ;)
