Out of two wires X and Y of same material, wire Y is twice the length of wire X. which one has greater resistance? Justify your answer.

Wire Y has more resistance.

Because wire Y is twice the length of wire X and they are made up of same material which means resistivity is same but resistance also depends on length of the wire. Resistance is directly proportional to length of the wire that is greater the length greater resistance.
