Outline of the story :
Two tigers in a forest - both the tigers want to become the sole master of that forest - often come into clash with each other - decide to settle the matter by fighting till death - both fight ferociously - one gets killed - the other too, is badly injured and dies.

Please also mention the moral of the story and should be written in past tense

Once in a forest, there were two tigers. They were best friends. They helped each other in difficult situation. They were ready to die for each other. There was no king of the forest.

Once they both wanted to became the sole of the forest. First tiger said. “See my friend, our forest have no king. I think I am the only one who can manage everything in the forest.” The second tiger said, “Why only you? I can also be the sole of this forest.” They both got angry.

On saying this they both decided that they would fight with each other and the audience will decide who will be the sole of the forest. Everyone agreed in the forest. The next morning, they started fighting with each other in front of the audience. Audience started cheering both, because they both were capable of becoming sole of the forest. Each other started beating each other will their nails, started biting each other. The audience became silent.

After fighting for sometime, the first one died due to much loss of blood. The second tiger was badly hurted and after few minutes he too, died.

Moral =>We should never be greed.
