Create a Shortcut to a Hard Drive

1. Double-click the "My Computer" icon from the Desktop. 

2. Right-click the hard drive that you would like to create a shortcut to, and select "Create Shortcut" from the menu that appears. 

3. A dialog box will appear informing you that you can't create the shortcut in the current window. Click Yes, and the shortcut will be moved to the Desktop. 

4. You now have a shortcut to your hard drive on the Desktop. Just double-click it, and you can browse your hard drive as if you had double-clicked it from the My Computer window
