STAGES INVOLVED IN TREATMENT OF SEWAGE WATER :-

●Screening
this is the first stage ,in this stage large dirty particles are removed from water such as, sanitary items, cotton buds, face wipes, broken bottle, plastic rags, bottle tops etc.

●Primary Treatment
this is the second stage, in this stage all organic solid wastes are removed from water body . this process is done into large settlement tank.

●Secondary Treatment
this is third stage, in this stage bacteria and tiny germs are removed from wastewater. But in this process bacteria doesn't remove totly, some are left.This process is done into large rectangular settlement tank.

●Final Treatment
this is forth and last stage, in this stage bacteria removed totly and now waste water is converted into fresh water.

☆The totly filtered water then released into river.
