"The given statement is true.
The outline view displays the overview of the document. Sometimes when a user is creating a highly complex document with a lot of chapters, topics, headings, and subheadings, then keeping track of the entire document becomes very cumbersome.
That is where the outline view comes to rescue. It shows the outline of the document to the user (i.e. only headings and subheadings).
So, the user is able to get an idea of the entire document just by looking at the outline and continue the user's work forward."
