Using principle that sum of the lengths two sides of triangle is greater than the length of third side

AP+BP IS GREATHER THAM AB I.e. 3.5

BP+CP IS GREATER THAN BC I.e. 4

CP + DP IS GREATER THAN CD I.e. 4.8

DP + AP IS GREATER THAN 3.7

Add all four inequations and you will get

AP +BP+CP+DP is greater than 8 cm
