Overactivity of the sympathetic nervous system can manifest as increased heart rate, increased respiration, increased blood pressure, diaphoresis, and hyperthermia. Previously, this syndrome has been identified as general dysautonomia but now is considered a specific form of it.

Hii..!!
Consider you are in a forest and a lion is behind you.
All those bodily changes which will help you from running ♂️ away from lion is considered under sympathetic control.
Like increases in respiratory rate will cause you hyper ventilate so increase oxygen supply, same with heart beat . But process of digestion which is not considered life saving slows down.
Now with this.. We can see when you have overstimulation of sympathetic activity,
It leads to hyperventilation , tachycardia, and constipation etc.
Hope it will help
Good luck
