Over time, what will to happen to the populations of light and dark moths on light trees?

It will mostly be similar to the case given in NCERT TEXT.....CLASS X11........INDUSTRIAL MELANISM....

Like,,,,,,now,,,most of the tree trunks are covered by lichens,,, so they appear white..... So white moths have an advantage over dark ones of not being noticed... As time passes,, more and more industries may come up...and due to pollution,,the lichens may die off and the trunks can become dark in colour......Then...the dark moths will have an advantage........ This can also be termed as an evolution due to human activities,,ie., anthropogenic evolution,,to some extent.....
