HEY DEAR....
HERE'S YOUR ANSWER⬇
overgrazing and deforestation leads to soil infertility in many ways like :
# Removal of vegetation from an area reduces the amount of humans content in the soil.
# The plants/ Trees act as a protective layer to the soil. They reduce the impact of rain drops on the soil as rainwater would easily erode the top layer of the soil.
# Reduces the rate of evaporation of water which would lead to a decrease in the amount of rainfall in the area and this would result in accelerated deforestation.
# The hooves of the animals would "disturb" the soil layer as it becomes more easier for the wind to remove the finer soil particles.
# The roots hold the soil together and if the roots are removed, then this might result in sheet erosion.
# The raindrops would fall with pressure to the ground. And if there is no enough vegetation then this would result in splash erosion.
Any doubts, please ask me in the comments.
I HOPE YOU FIND IT HELPFUL.
