efficiency in mining: present technologies are inadequate in terms of efficiency.the world bank has not yet to evolve a really efficient technology of beneficaton .eg:waste produce during petroleum refining are utilised for making by-products. substitutes:scarce minerals can be substituted by developing bio-bio-degradable alternatives eg: copper is widely used in electrical industries.but now besides aluminium many other metals are used to conserve our precious copper wires.recycling:mini steel industries are using scrap iron all over the world,which are best examples of recycling.minimised exports:exports should be minimised and value added manufacture products should be exported.
