The distance of the object from the mirror, u = -30 cm

The distance of the image from the mirror, v = -60 cm

To find the foca length, we will use the formula:

Since, the focal length is negative, the nature of the mirror is convex i.e. it is a diverging mirror.

The focal length of the mirror is = -20 cm

The height of the flame = 2.4 cm

The height of its image would be:

Thus, the height of the image would be 4.8 cm.

The image would be real and inverted.
